About The Oceanside Studio Tour (OST)

"We’re humbled and grateful to acknowledge that we live & create on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples and that of the Qualicum First Nation."

Come and join us for our first inaugural tour where you can meet Arrowsmith fine art artists.

Beautiful, inspiring, and creative art is being made by emerging and established fine artists in the Oceanside area of Vancouver Island, BC all year round. Our self-guided studio tour is your chance to see it all in person. Come visit with us in our studios on Saturday August 6th and Sunday August 7th from 10 am to 4pm, 2022. We’ll show you our work and where we create it.

Make sure you enter to win at each studio, there are lots of prizes to be won. The more you enter, the better are your chances to win. Check our our prize draw page for more information and to see our generous sponsors.

How do I find the studios?

There is an online map and a paper map available online and at individual studios. Each studio has a number and an address provided.

You can also pick up a brochure at our "OST information Centre" , located at The Old School House (TOSH) in the “Sue Clark community space” generously donated to OST by TOSH at 122 Fern Rd W, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 2K1. The "Visitors Center" will be hosted by our Committee Chair, Vikki Vettese. There you will find brochures, a sampling of our artwork, get directions and ask any questions you may have about the OST.

You can also find brochures at the MacMillan Art Center (MAC) and Qualicum Art Supply & Gallery.

What kind of art will you see?

Our artists work in all kinds of media (acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, collage) and in a myriad of styles (abstract, Impressionism, representational, contemporary, and more). All artists in this tour are 2D visual artists except one 3D artist.  You can expect to see paintings, prints, art cards and some other art-related giftware.

How do I know what studios I want to visit?

Our participating artists are listed here. Have a look at their websites to get an idea of their work; then plan your visits using the handy tour map.

Can’t make our tour dates?

Many of our artists open their studios by appointment year-round. Contact the artist through their website to arrange your visit for a private tour. The 🎨 symbol beside a participating artist’s name indicates that studio visits by appointment are available.

Most artist have a point of sale ability to accept credit cards and Interac.  If in doubt, check with the individual artist.
